In memory of Steven Paul Jobs 1955-2011. I have compiled a short obituary here.
Welcome to my site, as you can guess by the name, it is centred around Graphical User Interfaces. I plan to document and preserve the history and features of GUIs through screenshots, icons and, occasionally, videos. Whilst I endeavour to catalogue what I can and when I can, I have researched more into Microsoft's own software and their operating systems.
Just choose one of the above and, say you clicked on Microsoft Access, you'll find a page dedicated to cataloguing Microsoft Access, version by version. I will have an introductory paragraph at the top of the page and, as you scroll down, there will be individual Sections, each of which will have a brief paragraph and maybe a review or two by myself. Where possible, I plan to add the icons, which I have extracted using IcoFX, a good free Icon editor. To see more about the icons I use, see the Page, that I've created about Icons.
